The life cycles of angiosperms and other plants are characterized by an ALTERNATION OF GENERATIONS. Alternation of generation is a plant life cycle in which they spend part of their life in a multicellular haploid (n) GAMETOPHYTE STAGE ans=d part in a multicellular diploid(2n) SPOROPHYTE STAGE.
